The DSO Team facilitated outreach to BMe’s core community through survey development, conducted research to support development of a digital media strategy, and contributed to a social media campaign focused on current and past Black women leaders.
A partnership between Development Solution Organization and the POISE Foundation team, this project focused on increasing the percentage of and amount given by individual donors using actionable targeted fundraising and marketing strategies. The end objective was to increase POISE’s donor reach using low-cost and low-effort resources.
DSO partnered with A Touch of Understanding to evaluate expansion strategies, sustainable financial models, set goals and research how similar programs have scaled up in support of their disability awareness programs.
DSO partnered with Banyan, a mental health organization that has been an integral part of the care of for people with mental illness in Chennai since 1993. The teams consisted of 6 volunteers from DSO and several stakeholders from Banyan.
A collaborative partnership between Development Solution Organization and the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County to help them plan to develop the tools, process, and procedures to better support once of their core services: The Crisis Hotline. This project focused on data management for the crisis hotline. Primarily the focus would be on assessing and implementing what is necessary to move the hotline from a paper based process to a dynamic organized tool that ties together services and clients. In addition to staff, the system must support 40 volunteers which currently use physical call sheets that are mailed or scanned in.
DSO partnered with Memunatu, an organization that promotes literacy, leadership, and empowerment for teenage that has educational and fun content. girls (10-17 years old) in West Africa through a community-driven publication / magazine.
A collaborative partnership between Development Solutions Organization and the Building New Hope (BNH) team, this project focused on raising awareness of farmers’ livelihoods and ethical trade in order to give impactful brand positioning and marketing ideas that would better target individual and institutional customers.
A collaborative partnership between Development Solutions Organization (DSO) and CameroonFDP, this project focused on developing a market analysis of potential sponsors, partners, and donors, and providing an overview of the competitive landscape and fundraising strategies of similar organizations.
A partnership between Development Solution Organization and the Scholarship Plus team, this project focused on improving branding through market research and website design. The end objective was to increase the scholarship program’s exposure and access to funding opportunities.
DSO partnered with PlanJunto on a project to help develop an inaugural PlanJunto Community Accelerator and outlined business and revenue models, including intellectual property and go to market strategy through a review of best practices.
A collaborative partnership between Development Solutions Organization and the Disrupt team from the US Institute of Peace’s PeaceTech Lab, this project focused on market research to create a game that incentivizes online disruption of pro-Islamic State messaging and propaganda through the generation of pro-peace content.
Development Solution Organization and BPSHI scoped out a project that yielded content generation to streamline BPSHI’s onboarding framework, an online financial management tool, and research on relevant grant opportunities to facilitate their venture into diversifying their revenue streams.
DSO partnered with Ashoka Changemakers to redesign the home page and a major landing page, evaluating content and conducting user studies and surveys to produce design deliverables that incorporate Ashoka's values and human feel into a usable structure.
A collaborative partnership between Development Solutions Organization (DSO) and Global Health Media Project (GHMP), this project focused on researching, evaluating and recommending a sustainable business model for GHMP in order to help it grow operations and maximize its reach.

A partnership between DSO and Made by Survivors (now Her Future Coalition) to increase revenue and sales of their jewelry by reviewing distribution opportunities and implementing the technical supply-chain operations to support additional shelters and rescue additional survivors.
